A residential to Skeet House and Sadeh Farm
Year 4 children from Alma with their cheeky charm
Arriving on a rainy April Thursday
The coach even fit in the driveway!
Falafel, hummus and potatoes to eat
Ice cream and pie – what a treat!
Edible trail, pond making and buzzing bees
We tasted honey in the shade of trees
We ran and laughed and climbed along
The obstacle course – we were so strong!
Zip wire, tennis and football too
Lots of grass to run fast through
Beds so comfy and rooms so clean and bright
We stayed up late with all our might
Tired teachers from no sleep at all
We kept them up and had a ball!
We’re sad that it’s over; bring on next year
We would like to give Skeet staff a cheer!
Thank you Talia, Alex, Bryan and Emma – you’re great!
Year 5 at Skeet House – we just can’t wait!
Year 4, Alma Primary
Sadeh Farm hosted us, a group of researchers from UCL, for an away day and night designed to foster collaboration and team work. We found it to be a perfect environment for our needs. There was lots of space for informal working and lots of activities outside on the farm to help with teamwork and bonding and keep us busy in between work sessions. We had the place to ourselves so we could really relax, and we were made to feel very comfortable and welcome. This is helped by their lovely farm manager Talia who is friendly and approachable and organised all the activities for us. The food (all vegan) was delicious too. All in all a successful stay and we will definitely be back! UCL
