Skeet Hill House is managed by Sadeh.

Rooted in Jewish values, Sadeh promotes positive environmental change through cultivation of the land and environmental education.

About Us

Skeet Hill House is situated in Kent, set in seven acres of beautiful greenbelt countryside. It is the only fully kosher retreat residence still in operation in the UK and is easily accessible from London and beyond. It is a communal facility in the fullest sense of the word, used by youth groups, schools and synagogues from a cross-section of the Jewish community.

Skeet boasts a wealth of on-site facilities, including an obstacle course, tennis court, swimming pool, zip-wire, camp-fire and vast outdoor space for games and exploration. We have accessible bedrooms and bathrooms available upon request.

Skeet Hill House is currently managed by the charity Sadeh who took over the management in 2018.

Testimonials

Our Clients say

In May, the Sadeh team kindly hosted the year 4 class at Alma Primary for our overnight residential!

Wow, what an incredible experience for absolutely every child (and the teachers too).

It was so lovely to see the children trying something new and embracing the outdoor opportunities that were offered: running, tumbling, jumping and climbing!

We enjoyed learning all about bees, making stinging nettle pesto and foraging through the plants and trees. The children loved the outdoor sessions with Alex and Talia and learnt so much!

Thank you for the welcoming environment from Talia, Yulia, Alex and Brian and the huge effort they all made to accommodate our very specific needs.

We can’t wait to come back!

Thank you for the most rewarding experience.

Alma

Wow! and wow! that was such a great weekend – thank you all very much.

My sons Louis and Gabriel have specifically asked me to email you for a lovely day today with the Bromley cheder trip. They loved being on the farm and really enjoyed David the Bee Man’s session (they asked if you could pass on their thanks to him too). They spent most of dinner talking about plants and bees. You all made a big impression!

Mother from Bromley Cheder

The kids really enjoyed getting active and dirty. It is a great way to educate about Judaism and agriculture. At the end of the activity we planted an olive tree, it was a great feeling to leave something behind and contribute to the farm. Thank you very much!”
