Skeet Hill House is managed by Sadeh.

Rooted in Jewish values, Sadeh promotes positive environmental change through cultivation of the land and environmental education.

Vision

Skeet Hill House is a beautiful, safe and environmentally focused kosher retreat centre serving the community since the 40s.

We aim to promote recreation, environmental education and outdoor activities within a Jewish framework through the use of our farm and retreat centre.

Skeet Hill House is managed by Sadeh charity and owned by the Jewish Youth fund.

We are committed to making sure Skeet Hill House is accessible to everyone and have a variety of accessible facilities but please be in touch if you have any needs you would like to make sure our met. We are currently working on our accessibility policy and hope to have that available shortly.

Skeet Hill House is committed to becoming an environmentally responsible site. We at Sadeh, the charity who manage the house and the grounds, are a Jewish environmental charity who took over the running of the house in March 2018. Since then we have put into place many environmental changes such as removing single use disposable plastics used for meals, switching to ecotricity (environmentally friendly electricity), monitoring energy use and composting all foods. However we still have someway to go and will be providing an environmental policy shortly.

We are currently working on redesigning the site both outdoors and inside the house. This is the 2020 plan for the Skeet Hill House land.
